Rangers won the 2008/2009 Scottish Premier League with 27 goals of their striker Kris Boyd. The official sticker collection of the league was released by Panini, including the Premier League clubs, a special section with the SPL superstars and and an additional poster with matches and club captains.
The album begins with the contents and an introductory page including two stickers: the logo and trophy of the Scottish Premier League. The 12 competing clubs are then shown in alphabetical order with 31 regular size stickers for each club. The player portrait stickers are actually divided in two half-size stickers (two players per stickers), making the total number of stickers per club 39 (counting both regular size and half size stickers as one). The stickers included for each club are: the club badge (metallic sticker), the home kit, the club captain in action (two stickers).
This album dedicates a large section to the top players of the Scottish Premier League, with a total of 36 stickers (three per club) of players in action. This section is called "SPL superstars" and it is divided in three parts along the album.
In addition, the collection includes the poster "SPL fixtures", with 22 stickers of match actions (12 stickers) and a large photo composed by 10 stickers with the club captains and the thropy of the league.
