Panini Premier League 2023

The official sticker collection of the English Premier League was released in December 2022 by Panini, being the fourth consecutive album of the series. As usual there is also a hardcover version of the album with slipcase. The collection is similar to the recent editions, including the 20 Premier League teams, special sections (kits, Elite players, legends, rookies) and the transfer update at the end of the album.

The album begins with an introductory page including two shiny stickers: the Premier League trophy and the official ball. In the following two pages, the Premier League kits are shown, with a total of 20 shiny stickers. Each sticker features the home and the away kits. The Premier League clubs are then shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 29 stickers displaced over four pages.

The first two pages feature the squad with 20 player portrait stickers, the club badge (shiny sticker) and the team photo sticker. In the other two pages, there are seven special stickers with players in action, out of which the shiny sticker of the star signing.

In the center of the album there are four special sections. "Elite" features the top players, with 20 shiny stickers (one per team). All players in the Elite section also have parallel sticker variants, with four colour variants available for each player. As stated in the album "Parallel stickers are not intended to be collected in this album", but they should be considered as optional extra stickers. The other sections are dedicated to the Legends (three stickers: Bergkamp, Drogba, Scholes), the Rising Stars (three stickers: Julio Enciso, Wilfried Gnonto, Samuel Edozie), and the early part of the 2023/24 ("The season so far"), with eight stickers of Premier League matches.

After resuming the second part of the Premier League clubs, the album ends with the traditional section "Transfer Update", featuring 48 new stickers included in the update set released in March 2023.

Manchester City won the Premier League 2022/2023 with five points more than Arsenal. Erling Haaland (Manchester City) was the top goalscorer of the tournament, scoring 36 goals in his first Premier League season.

Panini Foot 2024 - Ligue 2

For the second consecutive year, the French Ligue 2 is not included in the regular Panini Foot album, but it has a dedicated and official digital sticker album produced by Panini. This collection can be virtually completed on the Panini Collections App, but it is also possible to purchase the printed version of the album with the full set of stickers (39.90€). This time it is sufficient to complete 30% of the digital album to order the product.

This collection is very similar to the first edition released for the 2022/2023 season, with the same layout and number of stickers (300). The album shows one after the other, in alphabetical order, the 20 clubs of the Ligue 2 2023/2024. For each team there are 15 stickers displaced over two pages. The two extra sections, with the calendar of the season and the referees, do not include stickers. There are no special stickers (shiny, metallic), as all the stickers are player portrait stickers (no club badge or team photo stickers included).

Overall, a plain and simple collection that would be better to either step up, featuring also special stickers like club badges, or rather go back to be part of the regular Panini Foot collection. In the following we show the printed version of the empty album with the complete set of stickers.
