Panini Fussball 2014-2015 (Austria)

The official sticker collection of Austrian football for the 2014/2015 season once again covers both the Bundesliga and the Erste Liga. The album closely follows the format of the previous edition, maintaining the same overall layout and a total of 312 stickers.

The opening page features four introductory stickers: the Bundesliga logo, the championship trophy, the previous season’s winners (Red Bull Salzburg), and the top scorer (Jonathan Soriano). The album then proceeds to the Bundesliga section, presenting the ten clubs in the order of the final standings from the previous season, beginning with Salzburg. Each team is represented across four pages, with a total of 27 stickers per club. The first page includes the metallic club badge, the stadium composed of two stickers, and the manager, while the remaining three pages feature 20 player portrait stickers and the team photo (three stickers).

Two special one-page sections follow the Bundesliga teams. The first is dedicated to the 2013/2014 ÖFB Cup, showing three action stickers from the final won by Red Bull Salzburg against St. Pölten (4–2). The second is the Young Star Team 2013/2014, which highlights promising emerging players. Unlike the previous edition, this section features four stickers instead of three, showcasing some of the most talented young prospects in Austrian football.

The section devoted to the Erste Liga covers four pages. Each of the ten clubs is represented by three stickers: a team photo made up of two stickers and a shiny club badge. Differently from the 2013/14 album, there is no trophy sticker for the Erste Liga this time, though the league logo still appears at the end of the section.

Red Bull Salzburg once again dominated the Austrian Bundesliga in the 2014/2015 season, claiming the title with 73 points, six more than their nearest rivals Rapid Wien (67 points). The Spanish striker Jonathan Soriano confirmed his prolific form by finishing as top scorer with 31 goals, underlining Salzburg’s attacking superiority in a season where they comfortably defended their title.

Panini Liga Bancomer (Mexico) - Apertura 2015

Liga Bancomer Apertura 2015 is the ninth album of the Mexican league produced by Panini. In the same year Panini released also an album for the 2015 Clausura tournament.
The album Apertura 2015, which includes all the clubs of the first two Mexican divisions, continues with the "blue theme" of the previous recent editions. The introduction includes two shiny stickers: the official ball and trophy of the Liga Bancomer 2015. Then the 18 competing clubs are shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 18 stickers over two pages: the shiny badge, the shiny mascot, and 16 players. The design of the player stickers is rather poor. Player photos are cut at the neck (it's not possible to see their club shirt), the name is written in vertical and it is difficult to read, the number on the front of the sticker is the sticker number and not the actual player number. Luckily the shiny badge and mascot stickers make this album worth to be collected.
In this collection we find some known International players, like the French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac, who won the title Apertura 2015 with Tigre scoring in both finals against Pumas (3-0, 4-4 after penalties). The top goalscorers of the tournament were Mauro Boselli and Emanuel Villa with 13 goals.

The section dedicated to the Second Division (Ascenso MX) starts also with the fixtures of the tournament and an introduction with the previous champions. In this page there is the sticker with the trophy of the tournament. The 16 competing clubs are then shown in alphabetical order with three stickers over half page each: the shiny club badge and the team photo composed by two stickers. There are no update stickers for this collection as it was for some of the previous albums.
