Panini Scottish Premier League 2001

In 2001 Celtic Glasgow won the Scottish Premier with a wonderful season (97 points) counting on 35 goals of the top scorer Henrik Larsson. The league featured other famous international players like De Boer, Van Bronckhorst, Klos, Reyna, Petrov, and Mjallby.

The official collection of the tournament published by Panini is a fresh and colourful sticker album. It covers the 12 competing clubs with a large set of 37 stickers for each club, including the club badge, the team photo (two stickers), the stadium, the home and away shirts, the nickname, the superstar in action (large sticker), the supporters, the manager, the key player, the star defender, the star midfielder, the star forward, the fan's favourite, the skipper, the rising star, two supporter's mottos (half sticker each), and 18 player portrait stickers.

In addition, there are three introductory shiny stickers with the SPL logo, trophy and official ball. Moreover, in the center of the album there is a section (McDonald's - Ones to watch) with seven stickers: the McDonald's logo and six stickers of players in action (numbered A to F) that are attached to the empty album. Here we find also a poster to stick the double stickers. There are no update stickers for this collection, however Panini reserved two spots in each club page for transferred players. Those can be filled with regular stickers of players that changed club during the season, replacing the old shirt with special team transfer PVC stickers.

In the following, we show photos of the empty album with the complete set of loose stickers.

Panini continues the series dedicated to the Austrian football, with the official sticker collection of the Austrian Bundesliga. As usual for the latest editions, the collection includes a set of stickers of the Bundesliga and 2.Liga and an extra set of cards. With the empty album there is also a card holder to keep the 50 cards of this collection.

The album begins with an introductory page including five stickers: the Meister winners 2022, the trophy, and the logos of the Bundesliga and the 2.Liga. The clubs of Bundesliga are then shown following the standing order of the previous season, therefore starting with Red Bull Salzburg, who were the nine-times defending champions. For each club there are in total 26 stickers displaced over four pages: the club badge (golden sticker), the team photo (composed by four stickers), the stadium (two stickers), the manager, and 18 player portrait stickers.

Right after the Bundelisga clubs, the section dedicated to the 2.Liga shows the 16 competing clubs with four stickers for each club: the club badge, the team photo and two stickers with two players each. The set of 50 extra cards (one card in each sticker packet) includes the Bundesliga and 2.Liga logos and four cards per club.

RB Salzburg won the 10th consecutive Austrian Bundesliga title and Burgstaller (Rapid Wien) was the top goalscorer with 21 goals. The collection includes several young promising players, in particular owned by RB Salzburg, like the Slovenian striker Sesko (born in 2003, scored 16 goals in the tournament), Gourna-Douath, Kameri, Kjaergaard, and Adamu. In the following, we present photos of the album with a complete set of loose stickers.
