SPL 2008 is the official sticker collection of the Scottish Premier League for the 2007/2008 season. Celtic won the title and Scott McDonald was the top goalscorer with 25 goals. The sticker album produced by Panini features 448 stickers with all the Premier League clubs, special sections with kits, legends and international stars, and 12 extra "challenge cards".
The album begins with the table of contents and an introductory page including two shiny stickers: the SPL logo and trophy. Before the club pages, the home and away kits are shown with a total of 24 stickers (two stickers per team). For each Premier League club there are then 33 stickers displaced over three pages. In the first two pages there are the club badge (metallic sticker), the stadium, the manager, the team photo (two stickers), and six player portrait stickers.In the next two pages there are six stickers of players in action and six player portrait stickers. In the last two pages we find one match action sticker, three players in actions, and six player portrait stickers. The 12 Premier League clubs are shown one after the other in alphabetical order, with one break dedicated to the SPL Legends of the Scottish Premier League. Here there are 10 stickers of players in action: Caniggia, Dodds, Lennon, Henrik Larsson, Sutton, Gordon, Ronald de Boer, Amoruso, Russell Anderson, Franck Sauzée.
In the last part of the album, after the presentation of the Premier League clubs, there are two special sections. The first one is dedicated to the International stars of the Scottish Premier League, with 12 stickers of players in action. Among them Nakamura, Niculae, Boruc, and Latapy. The second one, which is the last page of the album, is called "Fair play" and it includes four large stickers of fair play moments. Randomly placed in sticker packets there are also 12 extra cards to collect, which are part of a game ("One-on-One Challenge cards"). Each card is dedicated to one team and has a detector lens revealing a special features that is part of the game.
