Panini Futebol 2010-2011

Futebol 2010/11 is the official sticker collection of the Portuguese Superliga. It features the 16 competing clubs and a special section with some of the best Internationl football stars, including Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The album begins with the fixtures of the season and the contents of the album. The Superliga clubs are then shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 20 stickers displaced over two pages: the club badge, the team photo, and 18 player portrait stickers. In addition, there are some update stickers for the players that left the club (called "bis" stickers). There are in total 24 "bis" stickers in this collection. Those stickers do not have a specific place in the album, but they can be either kept separately or be placed on top of the original stickers, sticking only the top part so that it is possible to lift the sticker and see the original sticker underneath.

After the Superliga clubs, there are two special sections in this album. One is the usual "Ultimas Aquisiçoes" with 36 stickers featuring the latest signings. Among them, the Colombian striker James Rodriguez who moved from Banfield to Porto in July 2010 for €5.1 million. The other section is dedicated to some of the best International football stars. Here we find 32 special metallic stickers with players in action, such as Robben, Iniesta, Gerrard, Kakà, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Porto won the Superliga 2010/2011 with 84 points (27 game won, only three drawn and no defeats), second place for Benfica with 63 points and third place for Sporting with 48 points. The top goal scorer of the league was Hulk (Porto) with 23 goals.

Panini Brasileiro 2011 (hardcover album)

Campeonato Brasileiro 2011 is the official sticker collection of the Brazilian football for the season 2011. For the first time Panini released a hardcover version of the album, in a limited edition that became immediately very rare. This is the first ever hardcover album released by Panini for a national league. Other countries (Italy, France, England, Spain, and Belgium at last) will follow some years later, with the first Calciatori hardcover in 2016/17 or the Premier League in 2019/20.

Campeonato Brasileiro 2011 includes all the clubs of Serie A and Serie B. The album begins with the table of contents and an introductory page including the sticker number zero: 50 years of Panini (1961-2011). Then the 20 Serie A clubs are shown with 18 stickers each over two pages: the shiny club badge, the home kit, the shiny mascot, the star player in action (PCV sticker), and 14 players. Serie B clubs are included with 8 stickers each: the shiny badge and mascot, and 6 stickers of players including a total of 12 players (two players per sticker). There are no other sections in the album, but the collection features also 8 autograph stickers, which are the same as the regular stickers but with the autograph of the player on it. Those 8 stickers published in the two versions (regular and autographed) are: Ricardinho, Maicosuel, Julio Cesar, Deco, Valdivia, Ganso, Rivaldo, Juninho Pernambucano.

In addition to those famous names, the Brazilian Serie A included some remarkable players like Ronaldinho, Neymar, Adriano, Casemiro, Alex Sandro, Paulinho, Lucas Moura. Corinthians won the 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro with 71 points, two points more than Vasco da Gama. The striker Borges (Santos) was the top goalscorer with 23 goals. In the following, we present the hardcover album with a complete loose set of stickers.

Panini Primera Division Profesional 2011 (Mexico)

Primera Division Profesional 2011 is an official sticker album of the Mexican league released by Panini. It covers the 2011 Apertura and Clausura tournaments, including all the 19 teams of first division (Primera Division) that took part in at least one of the two tournaments.
With this album, Panini produced an excellent collection, probably the best Mexican album they released (from 1997 to 2018). The album includes all the badge, mascot and stadium stickers. Behind a classy black cover with the Panini simbol over Mexican colours (green, white and red), there is the first sticker of the collection, celebrating 50 years of Panini. Then, the introductory pages include the table of contents and the shiny sticker of the Primera Division trophy. The f
The album continues showing the Mexican clubs in alphabetical order. For each club there are 22 stickers over three pages: the shiny badge, the mascot, the stadium, the coach, and 18 players. Only for the last two clubs (Necaxa and Tijuana), the number is reduced to five stickers on one page (badge, mascot, stadium, coach, and team photo).
In the last part of the album, there are some pages for the update set, which includes 54 stickers of new signings (Ultimos Fichajes, U1-U54) and 19 stickers of updated shirts (Actualizaciones Jersey, J1-J19).
