Panini Fotboll 86 (Sweden)

Fotboll 86 is the first album of the Swedish league produced by Panini. However, 15 years before, the company from Modena printed one album of the Swedish football edited by Williams Forlag (Fotboll 71), which can be considered the first international league album printed by Panini.
The album Fotboll 86 is in line with the collections of the period, being very classy and stylish with overall high quality of paper and stickers. The album includes all the clubs of the first and the second Swedish division and a central page with football stars, including among the others the stickers of Maradona and Platini. The album begins with an introduction including the contents and the team Sweden photo composed by four stickers. The 12 clubs of first division (Allsvenskan) are shown in alphabetical order with 19 stickers each: the metallic club badge, the metallic team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 15 players. Those pages includes also a brief player description under each sticker.
In the center of the album there are two pages with 16 stickers of international football stars. These are round stickers of player portraits. Here we can find the stickers of Maradona (Argentina), Platini (France), Altobelli (Italy), Butragueno (Spain), Rumenigge and Schumacher (Germany), Careca (Brazil), Boniek (Poland), Francescoli (Uruguay), Laudrup and Elkjaer (Denmark), Lineker (England), Romero (Paraguay), Scifo (Belgium), Sanchez (Mexico) and Rush (Wales).
The last part of the album focuses on Division II, which includes a total of 28 clubs divided in two groups (Norra and Sodra). For each club there are two stickers: the metallic club badge and the team photo.

Topps Bundesliga 2016

Fussball Bundesliga 2015/2016 is the 7th album of the German Bundesliga published by Topps, after taking over the licence from Panini for the season 2009/2010. The album is similar in layout and graphics to the previous ones. The special additions for this collection are the limited edition stickers, which are special shiny stickers of 18 star players (one per team). The same stickers are released also in the regular version that can be found inside the sticker packets.
The album starts with the contents and an introductory page with three special stickers: the metallic Bundesliga logo and trophies (Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga). Then the 18 competing clubs are shown in alphabetical order with 22 stickers over four pages: the shiny badge, the team photo (two stickers), the home/away kit, 17 players, and the star striker in action (shiny sticker).

After the Bundesliga clubs, there is one page about the season 2015/2016 with the sticker of the official ball and one page with three stickers about the Super Cup 2015 won by Wolfsburg. In this page, one sticker is the trophy and the other two are celebrations for the Super Cup victory against Bayern Munchen at penalties.

The collection includes also the second division (2.Bundesliga). For these 18 clubs there are two stickers: the club badge (regular sticker) and the home/away kit. The album ends with the schedule of the season, but no other section with stickers. In the following, we present photos of the album and all the 18 limited edition stickers released for this collection.
