Panini Pro League 2022

Panini Pro League 2022 is 50th edition of the Belgian football series. For the 50 years anniversary,  Panini produced a spectacular collection. In fact, it is the largest collection with a total of 732 stickers and for the first time a special hardcover album was released. The collection also includes special sections with the past album covers, the historical shirts, the winning teams and the best 11 of the last 50 years.

The album begins with the foreword and the contents, followed by the first special section including 50 shiny stickers with the covers of all the Panini Belgian albums from 1972/73 to 2021/22. The 18 clubs of Pro League are then shown in alphabetical order with 22 stickers over two pages: the shiny badge, the coach, the team photo (two stickers) and 18 players.
The 8 clubs of Division 1B and the 10 clubs of the Women's Pro League are shown right after. For both leagues there is one page per club with a total of 11 stickers: the shiny badge, the team photo and nine stickers of coach/players (two players per sticker).

In the last part of the album, there are special sections celebrating the last 50 years of the Belgian football. The first one shows the historical shirt of the main Belgian clubs. In this section there are 26 shiny stickers, one per club, with two shirts per sticker. The second section includes 49 stickers of the Belgian team that won the Division 1 from 1972/73 to 2020/21. Then, the "Golden 11" of the Belgian football is shown with 11 shiny stickers of the best players. Among them Preud'homme, Kompany, de Bruyne, Ceulemans, and Lukaku. The album ends with the stickers of the two Belgian football ambassadors: Paul van Himst and Eric Gerets. The album counts 732 stickers and there are no updates for this collection.

Panini Football 2002 (Belgium)

The album Football 2002 is basically the exact copy of the previous editions Football 2000 and 2001, even the number of stickers is the same (501). The album begins with the Panini Revelations, six stickers of the most promising players from the previous season. Then the clubs of Division 1 are shown in alphabetical order with 20 stickers per club: the shiny club badge, the team photo, the coach, and 17 players.

The section with the clubs of Division 2 starts right after with two pages showing all the club badges (half shiny stickers) and the team photos (regular stickers) of the 18 competing clubs. Then the squads are shown in alphabetical order, with six stickers per team (two players per sticker), including the coach and 11 players.

In the season 2001/2002, RC Genk won the championship and Wesley Sonck (Genk) was the top scorer with 30 goals. Club Brugge won the Belgian Cup, defeating Excelsior Mouscron in the final (3-1) with three goals of the Peruvian forward Andrès Mendoza.
