Panini Calciatori Celebration 2023

Panini released in June 2023 a special set to celebrate the Italian football season 2022/2023. The album with the complete set of stickers was made available on the Panini website. There are, therefore, no sticker packets for this collection. The album is an expansion of the "film of the season" section that was usually included in the Calciatori album. This year Panini created a separate album with the complete set of 144 stickers.

The album begins celebrating the 2022-23 Serie A champions (Napoli) with 13 stickers on three pages: the captain lifting the cup with the team (three stickers), nine players in action and the coach Luciano Spalletti. Then there are eight stickers dedicated to the other successfull clubs that qualified for the European cups or avoided relegation. The album continues with two pages with the highlights of the Italian Cup and the Supercup, both trophies won by FC Inter, who reached also the Champions League final. Stickers and stats of the 20 Serie A teams are then shown together with one team sticker per club and three stickers for Napoli.

The large section "Film del campionato", which is the core of the album, shows the highlights of the Serie A with 60 stickers, from round 1 to 38 of the season. The album includes then the stickers of the most valuable players (MVP) of the season, who were Fagioli (best Under 23), Provedel (best goalkeeper), Kim (best defender), Barella (best midfielder), Osimhen (best striker), Kvaratskhelia (best overall player), and Spalletti (best coach). The set dedicates also five stickers to the best rookies (Cambiaghi, Dia, Kvaratskhelia, Laurienté, and Lookman) and four stickers to the more promising rising stars (Hojlund, Baldanzi, Miretti, and Volpato).

The last part of the album shows the best teams of the women's season (5 stickers), the Serie B (5 stickers, including the topscorer Lapadula) and the Serie C (5 stickers with the topscorer Iemmello). On the last page there is still one sticker dedicated to Luciano Spalletti, winner of the "Coach Experience" of the year.
