Panini Fussball 2006/2007 (Austria)

Bundesliga Fussball 2006/2007 is Panini’s official sticker collection dedicated to Austrian football for the 2006/2007 season, covering both the Bundesliga and the Erste Liga. The album contains 312 stickers and maintains the classic Panini format of the era, with no update set, no card or poster extras, and a strong focus on structured club presentation.

The album opens with an introductory page that includes a short foreword and two stickers celebrating the previous season. These depict Austria Wien as champions and the top scorer of the 2005/2006 season.

The main body of the album is devoted to the 10 Bundesliga clubs, which are presented in alphabetical order. Each club occupies four pages and is represented by 27 sticker: the shiny club badge, the home stadium, a team photo split into two stickers, five shiny action stickers featuring players during matches, the coach, and 17 player portrait stickers from the squad.

After the Bundesliga section, the album includes a dedicated page for the Stiegl-Cup Final 2005/2006, documenting Austria Magna Wien’s 3–0 victory over Mattersburg, featuring two stickers integrated into a photographic layout. In addition, there is one page with the Young Star Team 2005/2006, in which two of the players are actual stickers and the others are printed.

The album ends with the Erste Liga, which is presented in a more compact format compared to the top division. The 12 second-tier clubs are each allocated three stickers, consisting of a shiny club badge and a team photo divided into two stickers.

From a sporting perspective, the 2006/2007 Austrian Bundesliga season concluded with RB Salzburg claiming the league title, finishing the championship with 75 points. Individual scoring honours went to Alexander Zickler, also of RB Salzburg, who ended the season as top scorer with 22 goals, underlining Salzburg’s dominance throughout the campaign.
