Conmebol Libertadores – A Gloria Eterna 2023 is Panini’s official sticker collection dedicated to the 2023 edition of the Copa Libertadores, South America’s most prestigious club competition. Released also with a hardcover album option, the collection contains 557 stickers and presents the tournament through a modern and visually polished layout focused primarily on the participating clubs and the history of the competition.
The album opens with an introductory page featuring three shiny stickers representing the essential symbols of the tournament: the official Copa Libertadores logo, the trophy, and the official match ball. This first page immediately establishes the identity and prestige of the competition through its most recognizable elements.
The following section, titled “Como foi em 2022”, looks back at the previous edition of the Libertadores and celebrates Flamengo’s triumph in the 2022 tournament. Across one page, Panini includes four stickers illustrating key moments and protagonists of Flamengo’s victorious campaign.
Attention then shifts to the ongoing tournament with the page “Como está sendo em 2023”, which provides a brief overview of the developing competition and includes a sticker of the Maracanã Stadium, chosen as the venue for the 2023 final.
The next two pages are dedicated to the tournament schedule and feature another shiny sticker of the Libertadores trophy, the same trophy that would ultimately be lifted in Rio de Janeiro at the conclusion of the competition.
The core of the album is dedicated to the 32 participating clubs, presented according to their group-stage order. Each team occupies two pages and is represented by 17 stickers. The layout includes the shiny club badge, the home and away shirts, and 15 player portrait stickers featuring the main members of the squad.
After the presentation of all clubs, the album concludes with a special tribute section titled “O Rei Pelé”. This final page contains four shiny stickers dedicated to Pelé, celebrating the historical connection between the Brazilian legend and the Copa Libertadores. Two of the stickers reproduce action images from the editions won by Santos in 1962 and 1963, adding an important historical dimension to the collection and linking the modern tournament to one of the greatest players in football history.
From a sporting perspective, the 2023 Copa Libertadores concluded with Fluminense winning the tournament for the first time in their history, defeating Boca Juniors 2–1 after extra time in the final played at the Maracanã Stadium.
