Panini Voetbal 82 is a classic sticker album dedicated to Dutch football for the 1981/1982 season, covering both the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. With a total of 427 stickers, the collection reflects the traditional Panini style of the early 1980s: simple, structured, and strongly focused on team squads, with only a few additional thematic elements.
The album opens with an introductory page that includes the contents and four stickers. Two of these form the KNVB Beker trophy, while the other two compose an action image of Willem van Hanegem, one of the most iconic Dutch players of the era.
The 18 Eredivisie clubs are then shown in alphabetical order. Each team is allocated 19 stickers across two pages, following a consistent and clear layout. The presentation includes a metallic club badge, a team photo composed of two stickers, the manager, and a series of player portrait stickers completing the squad.
After the Eredivisie section, the album transitions to the Eerste Divisie. This part begins with a double-page introduction featuring the season fixtures alongside 18 team photo stickers, one for each competing club.
The Eerste Divisie clubs are then presented in alphabetical order, though in a much more compact format compared to the top division. Each club is represented by three player stickers, with four players printed on each sticker, allowing twelve players to be included per team. In addition, each club has half of a metallic badge sticker, shared with another club on the same sticker. The album concludes after the Eerste Divisie section, with no additional thematic pages, extra stickers, or update sets.
From a sporting perspective, the 1981/82 season saw AFC Ajax win the Eredivisie title, with their striker Wim Kieft finishing as top scorer with an impressive 32 goals. In the domestic cup, FC Utrecht claimed the KNVB Cup, defeating AZ '67 1–0 in the final thanks to a goal by Jan Wouters.
