Panini Fussball 91 (Austria)

Österreich Fussball 91 is the fourth album of the Austrian football series released by Panini, following the editions Fussball 83, Fussball 85, and Fussball 87. The album offers a complete overview of both the first and second divisions of Austrian football in the 1990/91 season. In total, the album contains 260 stickers.

The structure opens with an introductory page of two metallic stickers: the league logo and trophy. The 1. Division clubs are then presented in alphabetical order, each with 16 stickers: the team photo (two stickers) and 16 players.

One of the highlights of the album is the double page with the 12 clubs badges of Division 1, rendered as metallic stickers. This section is placed between the First and Second Division.

The 2. Division is given more limited coverage, with just 2.5 stickers per club: a half-sized metallic badge and a two-part team photo.

The album ends after the Second Division with one last section called "Der Kampf um den Meisterteller" (The battle for the Championship) including no stickers . Extra items of this collection are four “slogan” stickers with no specific space on the album

Unlike Fussball 87, there is no dedicated section for the Austrian National Team. However, in Fussball 91 we can find well-known international, with figures such as Oliver Bierhoff, Mario Kempes, Hugo Maradona, Václav Daněk, and Jan-Age Fjørtoft all appearing in the club pages.

The 1990/91 season ended with Austria Wien winning the league, while Václav Daněk (FC Swarovski Tirol) finished as top scorer with 29 goals, ahead of Oliver Bierhoff, who netted 23 goals.
