Fussball Bundesliga 2009/2010 is the official sticker collection of Austrian football produced by Panini. The album covers the 2009/2010 season of the Austrian Bundesliga and also includes a section dedicated to the Erste Liga. In total, the collection features 312 stickers.
The album opens with an introductory page composed of two stickers. Following this, the focus is on the 10 Bundesliga clubs, each represented with 27 stickers spread over four pages. The layout is quite rich: the first page presents six stickers with two players in action (shinies), the supporters, the team photo (two stickers), and the coach. On the second page there are four stickers with the shiny club badge, the stadium composed by two stickers, and another player in action (shiny stickers). The other two pages are dedicated to the squad, with 17 player portrait stickers completing the roster.
After the Bundesliga section, there are two special features. The first is a page dedicated to the OFB Stiegl Cup 2008/2009, showing two stickers of the winners Austria Wien, who defeated Admira Wacker in the final (3-1). Another page introduces the Young Star Team of the season 2008/2009, represented by two stickers celebrating emerging Austrian talents: Lukas Thuraurer and Patrick Salomon.
The Erste Liga follows, including all 12 clubs of the second division. Each club is represented with three stickers: the shiny badge and a team photo made of two stickers.
In the 200/2009 season, RB Salzburg won the Austrian Bundesliga. The league’s top goalscorer was Marc Janko (RB Salzburg), who netted an impressive 39 goals.
In the 2009/2010 season, RB Salzburg won the Austrian Bundesliga, finishing ahead of Austria Wien. The league’s top goalscorer was Steffen Hofmann (Rapid Wien), who scored 20 goals.
This collection offers a neat balance between tradition and freshness: the classic structure of club sections, the inclusion of the second division, and the extra pages for the cup winners and the Young Star Team make the album varied and engaging. With its 312 stickers, Fussball Bundesliga 2009/2010 is a compact but well-structured collection that remains a nice snapshot of Austrian football in that era.
