Futbol Colombia 1986

Before Panini made its appearance in Colombia with the album Futbol 1988, two albums of the Colombian league were produced in 1986 and 1987 by Postobon (copyright Gaseosas Posada Tobon S.A.). We present here the album Futbol Colombia 86, which is for graphics and layout not very different from the following Panini Futbol albums. The collection starts with an introductory page including the table of honour of the Colombian champions and three stickers: the FIFA logo, the Colombian Federation logo and the Dimayor football federation logo. The album continues with the Colombian stadiums. This section includes a total of 23 stickers with 11 stadiums and a sticker of the Colombian flag. Here we can admire the legendary Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellin (Atletico Nacional and Independiente de Medellin) or the Pascual Guerrero Stadium in Cali (Deportivo Cali and America de Cali).

In the following pages, all the 14 clubs of Primera Division 1986 are presented. For each club there is a metallic sticker of the club badge, a team photo sticker, the coach sticker and 17 player stickers, for a total of 20 stickers per club.

At the end of the 1986 Primera Division, America de Cali won their fixth consecutive title, defeating Deportivo Cali (3-1) on December 17, 1986. Best scorer of the tournament was the Argentinian Hector Ramon Sossa (Independiente de Medellin) with 23 goals.
