Stickerstars Hannover 96

 

In 2023, the German company Stickerstars produced in partnership with the supermarket REWE a sticker album dedicated to the football club from Hannover, founded in 1896. The sticker album includes the team of the season 2022/23 and several sections about the history and best moments of the club. There are 176 stickers to complete the album, out of which 20 stickers are available also in a shiny version. In addition, there is a postcard with four extra stickers composing the logo of the album.

Hannover 96 won the German championship in 1938 and 1954, and the German Cup in 1992. In Europe, they took part in the Cup Winners' Cup in 1992/93 and two times in the Europa League (in 2011/12 and 2012/13). In the following, we show the sections of the album.

Historie (13 stickers): The history of Hannover 96 begins in 1986. These two pages show some highlights until the 9th of June 1973, when Hannover managed to avoid relegation to the 2.Bundesliga winning the last game.

Meister 1938 & 1954 (6 stickers) and Pokalsieg 1992 (5 stickers): the main victories of Hannover 96 are the German championship 1938 and 1954 and the German Cup 1992

Europa League 2011/12 (10 stickers): In the season 2011/12 Hannover 96 took part in the Europa League. They did a great tournament reaching the quarterfinals, where they were defeated by Atletico Madrid.

Peter Anders has a record of 496 caps with Hannover from 1966 to 1981, he was also born in the city of Hannover; Ralf Rangnick was the manager of the club from 2001 to 2004, period in which they were promoted to the Bundesliga.
