In the season 1977/1978, Club Brugge won the Belgian league for the third consecutive time, with only one point more than Anderlecht. The best scorer was Harald Nickel (Standard Liège) with 23 goals.
The sticker album of the league is a Panini-style collection of the period. The cover shows the Belgian flag and five action photos on a light blue background. Inside, the album follows the usual alphabetical order for the clubs of First and Second Division. Each club of First Division includes 17 stickers over two pages: the badge, the team photo, the coach, and 14 players. Details of the club and the players are printed on the album.
The Second Division is introduced by the calendar of the season. The 16 clubs have 5 stickers each: the team photo, the badge, and three stickers of players for a total of 12 players.
The last part of the album is dedicated to 14 unforgettable Red Devils. Here we find 14 stickers of legendary players of the Belgian National Team. Among them the just retired Paul van Himst, 18 goals in 30 matches with Belgium between 1960 and 1974.
