Panini Football 89 (Belgium)

The sticker album Panini Football 89 includes all the teams of the First and Second Division of the Belgian league. The album opens with two stickers of the revelations of the previous season: Marc Emmers in First Division and Gert Verheyen in Second Division.

Then the First Division teams are shown in alphabetical order. Each team has 18 stickers on two pages: a metallic club badge, the team photo (2 stickers) and 15 players.

Second Division teams are shown in two parts. In the first part there is a team photo and a metallic club badge (half sticker) for each team. In the second part 12 players of each team are shown on 6 stickers (two players per sticker).

KV Mechelen won the title of the 1988-89 season with 57 points, in front of Anderlecht (53 points). They had a great team that the previous season won the Cup of Winners' Cup.
