Panini Football 76 (Belgium)

Football 76 is the fourth album of the Belgian football published by Panini, since the first edition in 1973. In the season 1975/76, Belgian clubs were very competitive at the European level. Club Brugge reached the UEFA Cup final, when they lost against Liverpool (3-2, 1-1) and they won the Belgian I Division. Second place for Anderlecht, who won the Belgian Cup.
The sticker collection is in pure Panini 70's style, with long vertical full body player stickers. The album opens with the calendar of the season, the table of contents and six introductory stickers: the logos of the FIFA, UEFA and Belgian Federation, and their presidents (Havelange, Franchi and Wouters). Then the 19 clubs of I Division are shown in alphabetical order from Anderlecht to Waregem. Each club is displaced over two pages with 18 stickers: the club badge, the stadium, the team photo, the coach, and 14 stickers.

In the center of the album there are two pages with football rules explained by Prosdocimi. Here we find 20 cartoon stickers realized by the Italian artist Bruno Prosdocimi to complete a large drawing with funny caricatures of football rules.

For the clubs of II Division there is only a small section of two pages that includes one sticker per club with the team photo and the badge. The last part of the album is a large section of 9 pages about football rules. There are 48 graphic stickers to explain 17 foundamental rules.

In the introductory page there are also the stickers with the UEFA and Belgian Federation logos

Stadium stickers of Football 76 include a photo of the stadium and the badge of the club

The magnificent badge stickers of Football 76 (Anderlecht above and Brugge below). On the same sticker there are the club badge with team colours in the background and the city emblem

The Dutch players Koudijzer (Waregem) and Rensembrink (Anderlecht) were the third and second top goalscorers of the I Division 1975/76, with 22 and 23 goals respectively.

Great duo in Lierse: the Dutch Hans Posthumus was the top scorer of the league with 26 goals, and the young Jan Ceulemans (18 years old) scored 12 goals in his second professional season.
