Este - Liga 2003/2004

In the season 2003/2004, Barcelona and Real Madrid had both tremendous squads. However, the big winner of the season was Valencia. The team managed by Benitez won the Liga five points ahead of Barcelona and also the Europa League defeating Marseille in the final. Disappointing season for Real Madrid, despite the stars Beckham, Figo, Zidane and Ronaldo. No trophies for them, except for the "pichichi" (top goalscorer) of the Liga: Ronaldo with 24 goals. Special mention for the rookie David Villa, 17 goals in the Liga and he won the Copa del Rey with Zaragoza scoring against Real Madrid in the final (3-2).

The official sticker collection was released by Colecciones Este. There is also a Panini collection called Superliga 2004, released in the same year. The two publishers will join efforts for the first collection "Panini-Este" in the season 2005/2006.

The album Liga 2004 starts with the contents and continues with the 20 Liga clubs shown in alphabetical order. For each club there is space for up to 18 stickers on the album: the badge and 17 players. However, in some spots there is choice between two different stickers. Moreover, additional stickers of new players (Coloca) were released during the season. In each club page there is also a spot for the extra sticker "Jovens Crack de la Liga" (young "cracks" of the Liga). In total there are 20 of those stickers, which could be found in Nutella products.

In the center of the album, there is a three page poster with space for 20 team photo stickers. These stickers were released starting from September 2003 with the magazine La Razon.

The last part of the album is dedicated as usual to the latest transfers (Ultimos Fichajes). Here we find David Villa, Ronaldinho, Coloccini, Riquelme, Palermo. There are in total 48 spots for this section, with two extra stickers (Bis stickers) for a total of 50 stickers.
