Panini Pro League 2020

 

Pro League 2019/2020 is the official sticker collection of the Belgian football released by Panini in November 2019. The collection features not only the Pro League but also the Division 1B and the Women's league. In addition to the regular stickers, there are also two extra sets that are necessary to complete the album. The first one is the update set with 16 stickers of players that find place in the club pages. The second one is the Golden Boot set with 8 stickers of the 2019 winners.

The collection begins with the Pro League teams. For each club there are 21 stickers on two pages: the shiny badge, the team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 17 players. The last player sticker is a "transfer" sticker and it comes from the update set.

After the clubs of Pro League, there is a two-page section celebrating 50 years of Panini in Belgium, since the first album released for the World Cup (Mexico '70). Here we find 50 player stickers of the Belgian football series started by Panini in 1972/73.

The eight clubs of Division 1B are included with a total of 11 stickers each: the shiny badge, the team photo, and 9 stickers of players (two players per sticker). The same layout is repeated for the six clubs of the Women's league. In between, there is a section "Road to Euro 2020", with a large team photo of the Belgian Red Devils composed by 8 stickers, and 8 Belgian top players: Courtois, Meunier, Lukaku, Witsel, Tielemans, Thorgan Hazard, Kompany, and De Bruyne.

In the last part of the album there are two extra sections. "Gouden schoenen" features 8 stickers with the Golden Boot winners 2019. These stickers were released in a separate sheet. The last page of the album includes 8 stickers with the latest Pro League winners, the Division 1 and Division 2 players of the year (Hans Vanaken and Percy Tau), and the rookie of the year (Yari Verschaeren).

Club Brugge won the 2019/2020 Pro League with 70 points, second place for Gent with 55 points. The top goalscorers of the championship were Mbokani and Jonathan David with 18 goals.
