Football 2001 is the official sticker collection of the Belgian football for the season 2000/2001. It has a very similar structure and layout of the previous edition. The album starts with the usual section "Panini Revelations" with six stickers of the best prospects from the previous season. Among them, we find the sticker of Daniel van Buyten, future player of Bayern Munchen.
The collection shows the clubs of Division 1 followed the Division 2, with no other sections with stickers. There are also no updates or poster with stickers for this collection. Clubs of Division 1 have 20 stickers over two pages: the shiny badge, the team photo, the coach, and 17 players. Clubs of Division 2 are introduced by a double page with the club badges (half shiny sticker) and the team photo stickers.
In the season 2000/2001, Anderlecth won the Division 1 title with the best goalscorers of the league: Radzinski (23 goals) and Koller (22 goals). Westerlo won the Belgian Cup defeating KFC Lommel in the final (1-0).
