Panini Foot 2000

Foot 2000 is the 25th Panini album of the French football. Lyon won the Ligue 1 1999/2000 ahead of PSG and Lyon, with the goals of David Trézéguet (22 goals) and Marco Simone (21 goals). Marseille had also a very strong team with Pires, Keita, Dalmat, Ravanelli, but they were almost relegated to the Ligue 2 with a final 15th place in the league.
The Panini album includes both the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 with a total of 474 stickers. For each Ligue 1 club there is a full page for new players transferred to the club. As explained in the first page of the album, who wants can fill those pages using double stickers of the transferred players, placing shirt stickers of their new clubs on top. The sheet with the club shirts and the mini-stickers "transféré" to be placed on top of transferred players is included in the album. There is not a proper update set released by Panini.
For each Ligue 1 club there are 18 stickers: the shiny badge, the team photo (two stickers), and 15 players. Player careers are included in the album.

After the calendar of the Ligue 1, the 20 clubs of Ligue 2 are shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are three stickers on half page: the shiny badge and the team photo (two stickers). The results of the last five seasons and the actual squad are printed on the album.

Ligue 2 top players are also included in the album with 36 stickers of players and their careers. The most famous among them is probably Jérome Rothen (Caen), a French winger with 13 caps in the National team between 2003 and 2007.
