Panini Foot 2013 - Belgium

This Album is the official sticker collection of the Belgian League for the season 2013. It includes the 16 teams of the Pro League and the 18 teams of the Belgacom League. Special sections concern the young Belgian talents and the referees. The new feature of the album are the update stickers (Mercato) that cover the winter transfers.
The album opens (after the index) with the Pro League. Each team showed in alphabetical order is placed on three pages: one page with 6 stickers about the team (silver shining logo, coach, 2x team squad and 2x team uniform), and two pages with 20 player portrait stickers. The team uniform stickers (home and away uniform) are printed on a fabric material.
Anderlecht won the league after the play-offs in front of Zulte Waregem and Genk. The coach of Anderlecht is the Dutch Van den Brom. In the team we can find the rising star Dennis Praet and the bomber Mbokani. Another young talent Massimo Bruno does not have a personal sticker in Anderlecht but he is present in the album with an individual sticker in the Young Belgian Stars section. The two stickers of the "Mercato" (update) are De Zeeuw (from Spartak Moscow) and Armenteros (from Heracles Almelo).

In Club Brugge we find the stickers of the Colombian attacker Carlos Bacca (now playing for Sevilla) and other interesting young players (Meunier, Lestienne, De Bock). In particular, Maxime Lestienne is a young rising star that plays as a wing and scores easily. We will find him in a big club in the future.

Mats Rits arrives in Mechelen on loan from Ajax

For Standard de Liège was quite a disappointing season with a final sixth place, but they had a very interesting team (and started very well the 2013/14 season): the young defender Fryers who moved to Tottenham and the two forward players Batshuayi and Ezekiel who are both born on 1993 and have a great potential. We will hear from them too!

Zulte was the big surprise of the season with a final second place. Best players of the team is Thorgan Hazard (on loan from Chelsea) brother of the most famous Eden.

After the Pro League teams, there is a special section dedicated to the referees of the league, with a total of 18 stickers on two pages:

The Belgacom League is the Belgian second division and it includes 18 teams. For each team there are 2.5 stickers: 2 stickers for 12 players of the team and half sticker for the team logo (silver shining). On each page, three teams are showed.

The last section of the album is dedicated to the 20 best young Belgian players of the Belgian league, with 20 stickers distributed on two pages. The Belgian football has grown a lot in the last years and now the young academy is one of the best in Europe. Even if most of the young stars players leave the country very early to play in bigger leagues (for instance Lukaku, Courtois, Hazard,...), in this section we can find players like Praet, Batshuayi, Mpoku, Lestienne and Massimo Bruno.
