In the 1992/1993 season, Lothar Matthaus is back to Bayern Munchen after four years in Italy with Inter and Panini chose him for the front cover of the Bundesliga sticker collection. Behind this rather uninspiring cover, the album begins with an introduction of two stickers (Federation logo and trophy) and then it shows all the clubs of the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga.
The clubs of Bundesliga have 19 stickers over two pages: shiny badge, team photo (two stickers), and 16 players. The 2.Bundesliga is composed by 24 clubs, for which there are four stickers: the club badge and the team photo puzzle made by three stickers. The album ends with no more sections.
Werder Bremen won the 1992/1993 Bundesliga, with just one point more than Bayern Munchen. Ulf Kirsten (Bayer Leverkusen) and Anthony Yeboah (Eintrach Frankfurt) were the top goalscorer of the tournament with 20 goals.
