Panini Fussball 83

Fussball 83 is the fifth Panini album of the German football. It includes all the clubs of the Bundesliga and the second division (Zweite Bundesliga), with extra section dedicated to the German National team and football rules. There are no posters for this collection.

The album begins with an introductory page dedicated to the German National team on the way to the Euro 84 in France. This page includes a team photo composed by four stickers. Then the Bundesliga clubs are shown in alphabetical order with 21 stickers per club: the metallic badge, the team photo composed by four stickers, and 16 players. The peculiarity of the player stickers is that they are not simple portraits, but they show almost the whole body (until the knee). Player careers are printed next or under each player sticker in the album.

The section with the Zweite Bundesliga starts right after and it features for each of the 20 competing clubs the club badge (half metallic sticker) and the team photo sticker. The last part of the album focuses on the football rules. Here we find 49 stickers displaced over seven pages, with one metallic sticker of the German federation logo and 48 regular stickers showing the main football rules.

In the season 1982/83, the defending champions Hamburger SV won again the Bundesliga after totalizing the same points of Werder Bremen, but scoring a better goal difference. Rudi Voller (Werder Bremen) was the top goalscorer with 23 goals.
