Panini Foot 91

Foot 91 is the 16th Panini album of the French football. Behind a plain cover, the album shows the season calendar and an introductory page with a large photo composed by six stickers. This puzzle is an action photo taken from the friendly game France-Germany in February 1990, with Jean-Pierre Papin tackling Klaus Augenthaler. There is no table of contents for the album, which proposes the classic layout with the clubs of Division 1 shown in alphabetical order followed by Division 2. For each club of Division 1 there are 12 stickers over two pages: the team photo and 11 players. Stickers are large and often the background shows the club stadium or the training field. Club badge stickers are not included in the club pages, but they are part of a separate poster. The 20 club badge stickers composing the poster are transparent PVC stickers numbered with letters from A to T. The section with the second Division starts with the calendar of the season and it is followed by six pages with all the 36 clubs from Group A and Group B. For each club there is a club badge and a team photo sticker. The club badge stickers are transparent PVC foils with two club badges per sticker. The album ends with no more sections.

The 1990/1991 Division 1 was won for the third consecutive year by Marseille. The French striker Jean-Pierre Papin contributed to the title with 23 goals, being the top goalscorer of the league. Other important players included in this collection are Laurent Blanc, Enzo Scifo, George Weah, Didier Deschamps, Bixente Lizarazu, Chris Waddle, Ramon Diaz, Marcel Desailly, Bruno N'Gotty, Dragan Stojkovic Carlos Valderrama, and Eric Cantona.
