Panini Foot 2021

 

Foot 2021 is the 46th Panini album of the French football. For the third consecutive year, the album was released also in the hardcover version with a collector's box including the album and 50 packets. The album features all the clubs of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 with space for update stickers from the winter market released in the "Set Transferts". In addition, there is a poster with 24 stickers to be found in regular packets.

The album starts with an introductory page including two metallic stickers: the Ligue 1 and the Ligue 2 trophies. Before showing the Ligue 1 clubs, there is a section of two pages about the incredible women's team of Olympique Lyonnais, who won the last four European Cups. In this section there are eight metallic stickers of celebrations. Clubs of Ligue 1 are shown in alphabetical order with 26 stickers over four pages. In the first two pages the squad is presented with 20 player stickers. In addition there are the metallic stickers of the club badge and the coach. In the other two pages there are four more stickers: the home jersey (fabric sticker) and three metallic stickers of players: the loyal (Le fidèle), the nugget (La Pépite) and the X-factor (Facteur X). For each club there is space for up to four update stickers that can be found in the "Set Transferts" released in March 2021. These stickers are half-size stickers and there is a total of 24 stickers in the set.

 

The album includes also the Ligue 2, with the stickers of the badge (half metallic sticker) and four players in action (two players per sticker). The additional poster that can be found with the album includes the French and the International Top Teams of the Ligue 1. For each team there are 11 players and one coach for a total of 24 stickers, Those are special metallic stickers numbered P1 to P24.

The 2020/2021 Ligue 1 was conquered by Lille with one point more than the three-time defending champions, Paris-Saint-Germain. Top goalscorer of the league was Mbappé with 27 goals.
