Panini Liga Bancomer (Mexico) - Apertura 2015

Liga Bancomer Apertura 2015 is the ninth album of the Mexican league produced by Panini. In the same year Panini released also an album for the 2015 Clausura tournament.

The album Apertura 2015, which includes all the clubs of the first two Mexican divisions, continues with the "blue theme" of the previous recent editions. The introduction includes two shiny stickers: the official ball and trophy of the Liga Bancomer 2015. Then the 18 competing clubs are shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 18 stickers over two pages: the shiny badge, the shiny mascot, and 16 players. The design of the player stickers is rather poor. Player photos are cut at the neck (it's not possible to see their club shirt), the name is written in vertical and it is difficult to read, the number on the front of the sticker is the sticker number and not the actual player number. Luckily the shiny badge and mascot stickers make this album worth to be collected.

In this collection we find some known International players, like the French striker Andre-Pierre Gignac, who won the title Apertura 2015 with Tigre scoring in both finals against Pumas (3-0, 4-4 after penalties). The top goalscorers of the tournament were Mauro Boselli and Emanuel Villa with 13 goals.

The section dedicated to the Second Division (Ascenso MX) starts also with the fixtures of the tournament and an introduction with the previous champions. In this page there is the sticker with the trophy of the tournament. The 16 competing clubs are then shown in alphabetical order with three stickers over half page each: the shiny club badge and the team photo composed by two stickers. There are no update stickers for this collection as it was for some of the previous albums.
