For Euro 2016 Panini launched a renovated sticker album of the competition. New features are the mini stickers of the starting eleven of each team. Compared to previous editions, the sections "City and venues" and the "History of the competition" are only printed in the album (no stickers) and this was a big disappointment for the collectors.
However, Panini published in parallel with the standard version a "Star Edition" of this collection for the Swiss market, in which the stickers of players are metallic and the special stickers (badges and introductory stickers) are in fabric material (satin). Besides, they printed a limited hardcover album for the Star Edition released in a Gift Box (album + 100 packets) in 1000 copies. This post presents here below the hardcover album of the Star Edition collection, a very fine product with high quality stickers and album.
The album starts with an introductory page of six stickers: Euro 2016 logo (2 fabric stickers), the mascot (fabric sticker), Panini symbol (fabric sticker), and the trophy of the competition (2 metallic stickers). Then the calendar of the competition is shown. In these two pages there are two fabric stickers: the official match ball and the poster of Euro 2016.
The 24 teams are shown divided by groups. First there are two introductory pages of the group with badges (fabric stickers) and celebration (metallic stickers) of each team. Then for each team 20 profile player metallic stickers are included and displaced over two pages. For each team there is also the starting eleven on half page with the star player (metallic sticker) and the other 10 players in action (half sticker each, printed with glossy surface).

Update Set
Panini released an update set for this collection (both for the standard and the star edition) including 84 stickers of players participating to the competition replacing players that did not take part. In this update set we can find some very interesting good prospect and rookie stickers, like Renato Sanches (1997, Portugal) and Marcus Rashford (1997, England).
