Football Egypt '89 is the last Panini sticker album dedicated to the Egyptian league. It was preceded by five albums (83, 84, 85, 86, and 87). It is a classy Panini album in pure 80's style. It includes the 18 clubs of the Egyptian Premier League 1988/1989 with 19 stickers each: the metallic club badge, the metallic team photo (two stickers), and 16 players. The album is written in Arabic and it reads from right to left. The added value of this collection is the section with 28 stickers of International football stars at the end of the album. Among them Van Basten and Maradona.
The section International Stars includes the stickers of 28 football stars. Some of the most representative football players of the period are included: Rijkaard, Gullit, Koeman and Van Basten for the Netherlands; Maradona for Argentina; Baresi, Vialli, Zenga, and Donadoni for Italy; Matthaus for Germany; and many more (Hagi, Lineker, Butragueno, Valderrama, etc.).
