Scottish Premier Division '98 is the fifth Panini album entirely dedicated to the Scottish Premier League (after 92, 95, 96, and 97). Previously in the '80s, Panini published combined albums of English and Scottish Premier League.
This album begins with an introduction including the logo of the Scottish Football League composed by two metallic stickers. Then the clubs are shown in alphabetical order. The number of stickers and pages per clubs are variable. Celtic and Glasgow have a total of 39 stickers each over 8 pages: the club badge (metallic sticker), the team photo (two stickers), 20 player portraits, and 16 stickers of players in action. The other clubs include a total of 31 stickers each over 6 pages: the club badge (metallic sticker), the team photo (two stickers), 14 player portraits, and 14 stickers of players in action.
In the middle of the album there is a large section of 44 stickers over 14 pages dedicated to the Scottish National team. This section is called The Lionhearts and it celebrates the National Team that qualified for the World Cup 1998. In this section there are stickers of the players, the coach, and the supporters.
