Football 1998-99 is the one and only sticker album dedicated by Panini to the Tunisian league. In the same period Panini produced for Africa also three albums of the Moroccan league (from 1999 to 2001) and one of the South African league (in 2000).
The album layout is very simple. It shows the 16 competing teams with 15 stickers per club (team photo and 14 players). There are no other stickers, badge or shiny stickers. At the end of the album we find a section about the Italian league, with no stickers.
The club Espérance de Tunis (ES Tunis in the album) dominated the season 1998-99, winning the second consecutive title. In the same year they won also the Tunisian Cup and they reached the final in the CAF Champions League (lost at penalties against Raja Casablanca).
