Panini Calciatori 1976-77

Calciatori 1976/77 is the 16th Panini album of the series started in 1961/62. This collection includes all the professional teams and a large section with 59 stickers of retired football players that in 1976 were managers or trainers.

The album begins with the Serie A calendar and then the 16 clubs of Serie A are shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 17 stickers over two pages, with the golden club badge and 16 stickers of players. On each sticker there are two photos of the player: a small round portrait and the player in action. In addition, club pages feature the player careers with statistics of each season.

The team photos of the Serie A clubs are displaced in a separate section. For each team photo there are three or four sticker with faces of the players. In total this section, which is divided in two parts in the album, includes 60 stickers.

The album continues with the Serie B section, featuring seven stickers for each of the 20 clubs: the golden club badge, the team photo, and five stickers of players (three players per sticker for a total of 15 players). In each page of this section, the lower part is dedicated to ex football players that are still working in football as managers or trainers. There are in total 59 "black and white" stickers in this section.

The last part of the album features the Serie C, with the team photo stickers of the 60 clubs divided in three groups. In the season 1976/77, Juventus won the Serie A title, with one point more than Torino. The top scorer of the league was Francesco Graziani with 21 goals.

Panini Fussball 2019/2020 (Austria)

The official sticker collection of the Austrian Bundesliga 2019/2020 became very popular when the 20 years old Erling Haaland moved from FC Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund in January 2020, after scoring 16 goals in 14 matches in Austria. In fact, the album includes the first official sticker of Erling Haaland. His sticker became soon difficult to find, giving troubles to the people that wanted to complete the album. As a consequence, investors started buying rookie stickers from other collections with the only intent of reselling for higher price in the future, which I find deplorable.

The collection itself is not very different from the previous seasons, including however only the Bundesliga clubs. The album begins with the contents, the foreword and the first five stickers: the bundesliga logo and trophy (golden stickers), the top scorer 2018/2019 Munas Dabbur (20 goals), and the 2018/2019 champions FC Salzburg (two stickers).

The 12 clubs of the Bundesliga are then shown following the league table of the previous season. For each club there are 27 stickers displaced over four pages: the team photo composed by four stickers, the golden club badge, the stadium (two stickers), and 20 player portrait stickers. There are no other section with stickers in the album, which ends with 329 stickers.
