Eredivisie Pop-Up Spelers 2011-2012

The Dutch supermarket Plus signed the rights of the Eredivisie for the season 2011/2012 after that for three years they belonged to AH, who released three sticker albums from 2009 to 2011. The company Plus decided to produce a collection of cards to be the official collection of the Eredivisie 2011/2012 (there is therefore no more sticker collection of the Eredivisie since the AH album of 2010/2011). This is actually an innovative product, as the cards of the players can "pop-up" and become 3D, the upper part of the player can be lifted and the back of the card is put backwords like in the picture below.

Cards can pop-up and become 3D

The collection has a large binder and the cards are inserted in plastic folders. Between each plastic folder and the other there is a paper page with details and facts about the teams. The album opens with the table of contents, then the teams are showed in alphabetical order. Each team has a paper page with details (drawings, facts, etc...) and a plastic folder to contain a total of 16 cards: the club badge, the coach (pop-up card), and 14 pop-up players. The collection includes thus a total of 288 cards.

At the end of the binder there is a checklist (2 pages) with pictures of all the 288 cards and a special cardboard where it is possible to place the desired pop-up cards in 3D to compose a personal team.

Among the young prospect of the season 2011/2012 included in this collection we can mention some players that later on left the Eredivisie for a bigger competition: Christian Eriksen (from Ajax to Tottenham), Stefan de Vrij (from Feyenoord to Lazio), and Marco van Ginkel (from Vitesse to Chelsea). In this collection we find also Kevin Strootman, who moved from PSV to Roma, and Wilfried Bony (from Vitesse to Swansea and now Manchester City).

Panini Foot 2015

The official sticker collection of the French Ligue for the season 2014-2015 is issued as usual by Panini and it includes all the clubs of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. The style of the stickers follows the collection Panini Calciatori (Italy) of the year before: stickers have yellow border and club badges are in fabric material.
The album starts immediately showing the Ligue 1 teams without introductory stickers. Teams are showed in alphabetical order and are displayed over 4 pages. Each team has 24 stickers plus a maximum of 4 update stickers. There is a special fabric club badge, a team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 20 players. Two of the 20 players are special stickers: the top player (gold shining sticker) and the rising star (silver shining sticker) of the team. The update sticker set includes 30 new players and it was released in April 2015.

Ligue 2 teams are shown right after the Ligue 1. The section opens with the calendar of the season on the left and the first two teams on the right page. Each team is shown on half page and includes the club badge in fabric material (half sticker) and the team photo (one sticker). Details about the squad, statistics, and the team jersey are included.

The season 2014/2015 just ended with the victory of PSG (83 points) in front of Olympique Lyonnais (75 points) and Monaco (71 points). Lacazette (Olympique Lyonnais) was the top scorer with 27 goals. Evians, Metz and Lens are degradated to Ligue 2 and they will be replaced by Troyes, Gazelec Ajaccio and Angers. In Ligue 2 degradation for Orléans, Chateauroux and Arles and the new enters from the National Ligue (and thus expected to be present in the Panini Foot 2016) are Red Star, FC Boug-Péronnas and Paris FC. As a curiosity, two new teams of Paris area (Red Star and Paris FC) will be thus in Ligue 2 next season.
In this season we have discovered some interesting prospects. In Lyon, Fekir (1993) and Tolisso (1994) are already key players, whereas the new transfer Maxwel Cornet (1996) has played his first match in Ligue 1. Olympique Marseille has a young squad, here we find Jérémie Porsan-Clemente, the youngest player included in the album. Anthony Martial is the great hope of French football as he played regularly for Monaco this season and scored 9 goals.

Tolisso (38 appearances and 7 goals) and Cornet (4 appearances) for OL.

Ocampos new transfer from Monaco scored 2 goals for Marseille.
Porsan-Clemente (born 16-12-1997) is the youngest player of this album.

Hassen (Nice) is a young goalkeeper who played regularly this season.
Martial (Monaco) scored 9 goals in Ligue 1 for Monaco.

The club badges of this albums are special fabric stickers, a great feature of this album.

Panini Brasileiro 2006

The album Panini Brasileiro 2006 includes all the Brazilian teams of Serie A and Serie B for a total of 500 stickers. Serie A teams are displayed over two pages with 17 stickers: a shining club badge, a silver mascot sticker, 12 individual player stickers, and 3 stickers with double players. The total is thus 18 players for each Serie A team. We can find in this album some familiar players: Tevez and Mascherano in Corinthians before they moved to Europe, Jonathan (now at Internazionale) and Eder (ex Bayern Munchen goleador) in Cruzeiro, and the young Thiago Silva (Fluminense, now at PSG) and Lucas Leiva (Gremio, now at Liverpool).

Serie B teams are introduced by a table of contents. Each team is shown on one page with a total of 8 stickers: a shining club badge, a silver foil mascot sticker and the team photo composed by six stickers. This big sticker puzzle of the team is a special feature of this album. Although the final puzzle is a big size photo showing clear faces of all the players, it is not always easy to compose a good picture with six stickers, because the stickers have different sizes and the borders do not always match with each others.

The Argentinian Carlitos Tevez (21 years old) and Mascherano (21 years) both playing for Corinthians before they moved to Europe and had great success.

Thiago Silva (21 years old, Fluminense) and Lucas Leiva (19 years old, Gremio) at the beginning of their career in Brazil. They are now players of PSG and Liverpool, respectively.
