Bundesliga Fussball 2008/2009 is the last Panini album of the Bundesliga series that began in 1979. Starting from the following season, Topps own the Bundesliga rights and they release the official sticker albums of the German football.
The album begins with an introductory page including five stickers: the Bundesliga logo, the Meister trophy, Luca Toni with the best player award from the previous season, and two stickers of the Meister 2008 winners (Bayern Munchen). Bayern won again the Bundesliga title in 2008/2009 with 24 goals of the top goalscorer of the tournament, the Italian striker Luca Toni.
The album continues showing the 18 Bundesliga clubs in alphabetical order. For each club there are 27 stickers over six pages: the club badge (gold sticker), the team photo (composed by four stickers), the mascot (shiny sticker), 19 player portrait stickers, and the club stadium (two shiny sticker)
After the Bundesliga clubs, the album ends with a section dedicated to the 2007/2008 DFB Pokal winners (Bayern Munchen). This section includes five stickers.
