Panini Premier League 2021

The second Premier League album after the Panini comeback is quite similar to the first, in terms of graphics, layout and contents. The collection keeps its high standards with no significant innovation. The album is again released also in a luxurious hardcover edition with slipcase. The welcoming page introduces the collection with two shiny stickers: the trophy and the official ball. The contents of the album are explored with 20 team player stickers and the corresponding page numbers. The 20 competing clubs are then shown in alphabetical order with 29 stickers over four pages. In the first two pages the squad is presented with 22 stickers of players, the club badge sticker (shiny) and the home shirt sticker. In the other two pages there is a focus on stats and skills of players with a total of five stickers: the key player (shiny sticker), celebrations, magic moment, two players in action (shiny sticker), and the captain.

In the center of the album there are two special sections focusing on the key players and the best new signings of the league. The first section (Premier League Elite) includes 20 golden stickers of the star players (one per team), whereas the second one (Star signings) includes the best new signings (one per team) with 20 stickers of players in action. Among them, Timo Werner (Chelsea), Thiago Alcantara (Liverpool), and Gareth Bale (Tottenham). After resuming with the second part of the Premier League clubs, the album ends with a section dedicated to the winter transfers. Here we find 48 new stickers (numbered U1-U48) released with the update set in March 2021.

Manchester City dominated the 2020/21 Premier League with 86 points, but they lost the Champions League final against Chelsea. The top scorer of the league was Harry Kane with 23 goals, one more than Mohamed Salah.
