Rangers dominated the Scottish Premier League 1999/2000, winning the second successive title 21 points ahead of Celtic. The top scorer of the season was the Australian striker Viduka (Celtic) with 25 goals.
Panini published for that season the 7th official sticker collection of the Scottish football, since the first edition in 1992. The album begins with the contents and an introductory page with three large size shiny stickers: the SPL logo, the official ball, and the "I love SPL" logo. In the following two pages, the honours list of the Scottish league and Scottish cup are included, together with three stickers: the trophy (large size shiny sticker) and two stickers of the Scottish Cup Final 1999 (Rangers-Celtic=1-0).
The 12 competing clubs of the Scottish Premier League are then shown in alphabetical order. For each club there are 37 stickers over six pages. In the first two pages, the club is presented through 10 stickers: the club badge (large size shiny), the team photo (two regular stickers), the nickname, the home kit (large size shiny), the magic moment, the manager, the skipper, the stadium, and the supporters. In the following four pages the squad is presented with 22 player portrait stickers. In addition, there are the stickers of the top scorer (large size and shiny), the rising star, the key player, and two fans' superstars. Celtic and Rangers have also a total of 37 stickers, but those are displaced over eight pages instead of just six.
In the center of the album there are five special sections with stickers. The first is "Scottish Stars", a double page with 10 stickers of Scottish players in the English League. Then there is a section with the fixtures, which includes 10 large size shiny stickers with mottos, like "Hail! Hail the Celts are here". The following page includes the U'21 fixtures and two stickers of players in action: Craig Easton and Kenny Miller. The next section is sponsored by McDonalds and it includes the McDonald's logo and two players in action: Scott Severin and Derek Young. The last section of this part of the album is "International Superstars". In these marvelous four pages there are 20 of the most famous football stars in action: Anelka, Bierhoff, Blanc, Boban, Davids, Del Piero, Luis Enrique, Inzaghi, Kluivert, Maldini, McManaman, Mihajlovic, Morientes, Paulo Sousa, Raul, Rui Costa, Seedorf, Shevchenko, Vieri, and Zidane. Curiously, all these players are coming from Serie A or La Liga, and none from the English Premier League.
At the end of the album there is space for one more section dedicated to the "Team of the Year". Here we find 12 stickers with the best team of the season 1998-99 chosen by the country's leading sportswriters. There are 11 players and one manager sticker (Dick Advocaat) in this last section.
