Fussball 2002 is the official sticker collection of the German Bundesliga published by Panini for the season 2001/2002. The layout of the album is similar to the previous editions. The album begins with the contents, the foreword, and three introductory shiny stickers about the previous season.
The 18 Bundesliga clubs are then shown in alphabetical order with 27 stickers per team displaced over six pages: the shiny club badge, the stadium, the team photo (two stickers), five shiny stickers of players in action, and 18 player portrait stickers.
In the last part of the album there are three pages with special sections. The first one is dedicated to the winner of the German Cup 2001 (Schalke 04), with three stickers. The second one is about the Panini Tour and it includes two shiny stickers of players in action (Metzelder and Osthoff), whereas the last page is about four young German talents and their idols, with the shiny stickers of Ballack, Timm, Frings, and Deisler.
Fussball 2002 features also an additional poster with the German National Team that will take part into the upcoming World Cup 2002. The poster includes 24 stickers of players in action. Among them Kahn, Lehmann, Ballack, Klose, and Bierhoff.
The 2002/2002 Bundesliga was a tight tournament with the final victory of Borussia Dortmund (70 points), with just one point more than Bayer Leverkusen and two more than Bayern Munchen. The top goalscorers of the tournament were Marcio Amoroso (Borussia Dortmund) and Martin Max (Munchen 1860) with 18 goas.
