The Campeonato Brasileiro 2003 was the first edition without play-offs. The 24 competing teams played against each other twice in a regular season of 46 games. Cruzeiro got a total of 100 points and won the title ahead of Santos (87) and Sao Paulo (78 points). Dimba (Goias) was the best scorer of the season with 31 goals.
The Panini sticker collection of the season is the 14th album of the Panini Campeonato Brasileiro since the first edition in 1990. It includes all the 24 competing teams. In this collection there is the rookie sticker of Robinho (Santos), future player of Real Madrid and Milan. The young Kakà (Sao Paulo) and Diego (Sao Paulo) appear for the second time on a sticker collection of the Campeonato Brasileiro (after the album 2002).
The album starts with the table of contents. Then the 24 teams are shown in alphabetical order from Atletico Mineiro to Vitoria. For each club there are 16 stickers: the metallic badge, the mascot (PVC foil), and 14 stickers of players, out of which three stickers have two players on it (therefore there are 17 players per team). The album ends with the fixtures of the season and no other section with stickers.
