Futbol '89 is the second Panini album of the Colombian football. This collection includes the clubs of the main league (Campeonato Profesional Colombiano), the Colombia Nacional Team, and also a section dedicated to the Interncontinental Cup, with the two teams that reached the 1989 final: Nacional and AC Milan. In addition, the central pages of the album include the poster "Rumbo a Italia '90", with 20 stickers of international football stars. Here we find, among the others, the stickers of Maradona, Klinsmann, Gullit, Vialli, Ian Rush, Lineker, and Francescoli,
The album begins with an introductory page about the important events that will be faced by the Colombian teams in the following months, in particular the Intercontinental Cup final Nacional vs. AC Milan and the upcoming World Cup in Italy. In this page we find the first two stickers, which are dedicated to the President of the Colombian Football Federation (Leon Tamayo) and the DIMAYOR President (Alex Gorayeb).
Before the presentation of the clubs competiting in the main Colombian league, the album features one section dedicated to the Colombia National Team and one section for the Intercontinental Cup. For the Colombian team there are 27 stickers over three pages: the Federation logo (round sticker), the coach Francisco Maturana, the team photo composed by two stickers, and 23 player stickers, with the best Colombian players of the period, like Higuita, Valderrama, Andres Escobar and Freddy Rincon. In the Intercontinental Cup section we find the two clubs that will play the 1989 Intercontinental Cup final in Tokyo (won by AC Milan against Nacional, 1-0). For each of the two clubs there are 24 stickers: the club badge, the team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 20 players. In addition there are two stickers of the trophies won by Nacional in South America and AC Milan in Europe: the Copa Libertadores and the Champions League.
The clubs competing in the Campeonato Profesional are then shown in alphabetical order. All of the clubs are included in this section except for Nacional that was already presented earlier in the album. For each club there are 20 stickers over two pages: the club logo, the team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 16 players. The album ends funnily with a page dedicated to Israel, but in this case the 17 stickers of players are just printed on the album.
The collection features also a poster that is stapled in the central pages of the album. The poster called "Rumbo a Italia '90 - Estrellas del futbol mundial" shows the stickers of 20 players that will take part into the upcoming 1990 World Cup.
The stickers of the Israel team are just printed on the album (not real stickers)
