Football 85 is the 10th Panini album of the French football. This edition includes all the clubs of Division 1, Division 2, and a special section dedicated to the victory of France at the Euro 1984. Also the cover of the album celebrates the epic Euro 1984 for France with pictures of the players in action and Michel Platini lifting the cup.
The album shows first the clubs of Division 1 in alphabetical order, with 15 stickers on two pages for each club: the metallic club badge, the team photo, the coach, and 12 players. In the center of the album there is a section of 8 pages called L'année France (the year of France) celebrating the victory at Euro 84. In this large section there are 42 stickers, out of which 10 stickers are shiny metallic with the portrait of French players (two players per sticker with a total of 20 players) and the others are taken from the games played by France during the tournament until the final won 2-0 against Spain.
The section with the Division 2, which starts right after the last club of Division 1, shows the clubs divided in Group A and Group B. There is first one page with the club badge stickers of the group, in which each badge is half metallic sticker, and then the squad are presented with three stickers per club and a total of 12 players (four players on each sticker). The album ends with no more sections or additional stickers (updates, poster, etc.).
In the season 1984/85, Bordeaux won the Division 1 and Vahid Halilhodzic was the top goalscorer with 28 goals. Michel Platini won with Juventus the Champions League scoring the decisive penalty against Liverpool in the final.
