Fussball 98 is the 20th album of the German league published by Panini. The collection does not differ much from the previous recent editions. The album opens with the contents and an introductory page including two shining stickers from the previous season celebrating the title holder Bayern Munchen.
Then the 18 clubs of Bundesliga are shown following the standings of the previous season. For each club there are 27 stickers over six pages. In the first three pages the stickers are the club badge (shiny sticker), the team photo (two stickers) and five star players in action (shiny stickers). In the other three pages the squad is presented with 18 player portrait stickers. Player careers are printed below each sticker.
At the end of the album there are two special sections. The first is about the top 300 scorer of the Bundesliga (Die Ewige Torjager Top-300), with six golden action stickers of some of the best Bundesliga scorers. The last page of the album celebrates Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04, who won the 1997 Champions League and UEFA Cup, with two shiny stickers of celebrations.
