Panini Voetbal 81 includes all the 18 teams of Eredivisie and the 19 teams of Eerste Divisie, the two Dutch professional leagues.
The album opens with the table of contents and a map of the Netherlands with the location of each team. Then, the Eredivisie teams are shown in alphabetical order, each displaced over two pages with a total of 18 stickers: the club badge (shining sticker), the team photo (two stickers), the coach, and 14 players. Below each player sticker there is a brief description of the player career.
AZ '67 won the title of the season 1980/81 with 60 points, second place for Ajax with 48 points, third place for Utrecht and Feyenoord with 45 points.
After the Eredivisie, the section of the Eerste Divisie begins with the club badges. On one page all the shining badges (half stickers) and the logo of the Eerste Divisie (also half sticker) find place.
Each Eerste Divisie team is on half page with six stickers of 12 players (two players per sticker). In team Haarlem it appears for the first time the 18 years old Ruud Gullit, sharing the sticker with the teammate Keith Masefield.
