This is the official sticker album of Eredivisie for the season 2008/2009. It was released by the Dutch supermarket Albert Heijn in January 2009. This is the first Eredivisie album published by Albert Heijn, followed by two consecutive albums in 2010 and 2011.
The album of the season 2008/2009 presents all the 18 teams of the Eredivisie. For each team there are 15 stickers over four pages: in the first page there is the club badge sticker (aluminum foil), whereas in the second page two stickers with the team photo. In the other two pages the stickers of eleven players and the trainer are included. Player stickers are in action and they include the name, the role and two numbers identifying the defensive and offensive skills of the player.
This album does not include other sections with stickers. However, three update stickers were released with players that were not included in the original collection: Ben Sahar, Ola Toivonen and Lasse Nilsson. These stickers are numbered 271, 272 and 273, but there is not a specific space to stick them in the album.
